John’s TEC groups get together monthly (KEY117 on Tuesdays and TEC45 on Thursdays). The morning session involves a highly esteemed resource speaker running a workshop for members and guests with breakfast and lunch provided. After lunch, group members take part in an executive session in which they share and workshop challenges within their business. Tony Watt previously presented to the TEC45 and KEY117 groups in October and returned in February to work with members on their individual culture values assessment, and how they can manage culture within their businesses.
December. Andrew founded Birch Advisory in 2009 and combined it with Vantage Performance in 2012 to focus on debtor-led, creditor-supported business turnaround and performance improvement.
November. Mark is an experienced strategist and senior leader and has worked with boards and executives both locally and internationally in a range of industries to develop long term value creating strategies including at CBH, Landgate and BankWest.
September. For the TEC45 September meeting, TEC Chair John Beech presented on Business Models Innovation on his return from attending “Scaling Lean” workshop in Sydney by international business model expert, Ash Maurya.
August. Frank Furness is a specialist in sales, technology, social media and goal setting and how they work in tandem to produce great results for organisations.
July. The July TEC45 meeting saw three experts in Cyber Security present a short resource session to the group. Michael Simkovic, the managing director of CSO Group, Gary Hale, the managing director of SK8 Limited, and Graeme Speak, the CEO/Founder of BankVault.com.
8.30am-12pm 2nd May 2017 Hillarys Yacht Club Alan Miltz will be returning to present his finance workshop to KEY117 members and guests. Alan will also be returning to TEC45 and helping members to analyse their Cash Flow story results.
8.30am-3.30pm 6th April 2017 Technology Park Function Centre David will share with us his experience at Woodside and Alcoa, giving us some insights into how some large organisations work to improve their business. Along the way, he plans to give us the confidence and motivation to start the journey towards business and cultural improvement in our own teams.
8am-3.30pm 13th March 2017 The Astral, Crown Perth All TEC Day is a full day event replacing the usual individual group meeting for the month which all members, chairs and approved guests are invited to attend. Speakers this year include: Harold Hillman, Andrew Pratley, Deirdre Willmott and Philip Hesketh.
8am-12pm 31st January 2017, 2nd February 2017 ERGT Offices, Jandakot and Hillarys Yacht Club Workshop and resource session run by Simon Waller, author of Analogosaurus, on "Your Digital Champion" for KEY117 and TEC45 members and guests. Apart from his work with TEC, Simon is also a conference speaker, author and digital coach. He helps people work more efficiently, at lower cost whilst producing better outcomes. Most importantly Simon will help you be more human in a world of digital business.
8am-12pm 8th December, 2016 Odeum Boardroom, Canning Vale On Thursday the 8th of December John Broons presented his workshop “The Challenge of Succession in Family Business” to John’s TEC45 group at the head office of Odeum Farms. The session was attended by group members and select family members involved in the respective businesses.

3rd November, 2016 Technology Park Function Room On November 3rd, Alan Miltz presented his finance workshop to TEC45 members and guests. All attendees gained excellent take-out value from his new presentation and financial tools that he explained. Material was drawn from the chapter that Alan wrote in Verne Harnish’s new book called Scaling Up (Mastering the Rockefeller Habits 2.0).
